Is she planning on being buried next to your Dad? You may end up with some say on HER stone ! If that is the case, you can play massive head games with her - if you are inclined.

Ha, Ha! I thought about signing up for one of their book Bible studies just so I can ask them questions, based on what I have learned on this board (Thanks to all for the education! ) But I decided that I would lie in wait. I don't want them saying, "You asked for a Bible study and this is how it is done."

I haven't seen them here on 3 or 4 years, and I have always treated them politely.
i know some who go to meetings because they feel they have to because of family or other considerations.. imagine going to a meeting and having your iphone with you!.
how would it look if you had a watchtower in your hands along with a tv guide?.
think about going to a meeting with strong booze breath.. any other suggestions?

we were at a party (get-together in jw speak) and somehow the ones i was talking with changed the subject to a talk given by the co that "the end is closer than we think.".
i just sheepishly asked the group ... "i don't understand that phrase, "the end is closer than we think.

I would love to ask, "If you are so sure, what are your emergency plans in regards to food, water, electricity, etc.?"

i have a friend and real estate agent helping me, but it's pretty much a nightmare.

The rule of thumb nowdays is that housing should not cost more than 30% of one's income. If your debt load is low, then going a little more is not a problem.
